Long time! I was all stoked when I started this thing then kinda spaced on it. Been super busy with work and school and such.
School's going well, though I am getting overwhelmed. I hate when it's time for midterms and papers. I have a ton to read for Economics this weekend- exam on Monday. I hope it all makes sense.
Glen and I are going to NYC next weekend! Super stoked. We were supposed to go to a 20th century arts show with like 90 exhibitors of art, jewelry, furniture, architecture, etc, but it got POSTPONED! after we made our reservations, so we will go for the weekend anyway. I'm looking forward to getting away with my love for a couple days. Friday the 27th is DIVORCE COURT DAY. I'm nervous; I will give a full report afterward. I just have no idea how it's going to happen... and we're leaving for NY as soon as it's done. Then Sunday the 1st is our 10 month anniversary! I know, I know. So gay. The man just makes me so happy, I always feel like celebrating.
Valentine's Day RULED. Well, the Glen part did. Not the Dad's-birthday-go-to-the-cemetary-hang-out-with-Mom-and-cry part. I made breakfast, and then Glen said to me,"So do you want your Valentine's present now or later?" I obviously said Now. So he went downstairs to get it while I sat on the couch with my eyes closed. I assumed it was flowers or sweets. He came back up and put it down on the table... and it was the LOVELIEST pair of cowboy boots!!! When he was in Denver, he went to this western wear store he always goes to to get shirts, and sent me a pic of all the boots bc he knew I wanted a nice pair, and I implied that he could pick me out a pair if he wanted! haha but he said it was too much pressure, and way too daunting to pick out shoes for me. LIAR! He had them mailed home and kept them from me! So sneaky- I can't believe he pulled it off! I LOVE them. Especially because he picked them out- it really means a lot to me.
Last Thursday, I went to the regular doctor and the eye doctor. In short, I was informed I have tennis elbow in both elbows (no, I don't play tennis) and that MY EYELIDS DON'T CLOSE ALL THE WAY WHEN I BLINK AND SLEEP! Awesome. Nothing I can really do about either one. The tennis elbow won't stop until I stop doing my job, and for the eyelids, I need to wear protective ointment at night. HOTTTTTTTTT. Oh, and then I ripped a hole in my crotch at work the next morning whilst putting a stack of cases of mushrooms on the floor. PS I highly recommend my eye doctor if you need one- Dr. Magalhaes at Lenscrafters on Rte 1 in North Attleboro. Super thorough and nice. I had a followup yesterday where I got my eyes dilated for the first time in a LONG time. ouch! But I also got awesome new glasses, which my insurance covered a lot of! Instead of $475, I paid $148!!!!!!! Siiiiiiiiiick.
Man. I feel so scattered lately. Trying to do too many things at once, and getting freaked out about financial situations. The stock market scares the shit out of me. Thank God I have a good job and a place to live. I should be getting some school refunds soon, so then I can pay off my credit card and hopefully a few medical bills. Stressed.
I think I need a nap.
